The Great Taste Awards (GTA), managed by the Guild of Fine Food, is the best-known and most respected food industry and gastronomy competition in the "fine food" world, founded in 1994 in London. The GTA 3 star is often referred to as the 'Fine Food Oscar'; three stars indicate products classified as "Exquisite", 2 stars as "Outstanding" and 1 star as "Delicious". Bagoila therefore won this world competition in 2023, in London. It is worth knowing that the "world champion" was determined by a committee of professionals from hundreds of samples by blind tasting.
What is the difference between cold and hot pressed pumpkin seed oil?
Our small business voted for cold-pressed oils 10 years ago, because cold-pressed cooking oil is the king of all edible oils.
With this technology, the oil is least damaged, there is no grinding, toasting, or kneading. During pressing, the temperature of the cooking oil does not exceed 50 degrees.
It should be noted that cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil is not as intense and tasty as its hot-pressed counterparts. As a result of roasting and salting, a roasted pumpkin seed oil is naturally tastier. Because we people today are used to processed foods and salting. Salting is not used by all hot presses.
Currently, the price of Bagoilla's cold-pressed oil is HUF 2,500, which is only 25% higher than the price of our own-brand cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil in a half-liter package.
